I'm continuing to give International Presentations and Professional Development Workshops. My move to PSU has provided me opportunities to work with teachers in quadralingual schools in Montreal. We've been implementing Literature Circles in English, French, Hebrew, and Yiddish classrooms! I'm also working with Kindergarten-2nd grade teachers to implement meaningful literacy experiences into their programs and am beginning a series of workshops with High School teachers who want to infuse literature circles into their classes.
I've started a series of workshops at Oak Street Elementary School in Plattsburgh, and am enjoying my work with the teachers there.
In addition, one of my greatest thrills was having the opportunity of working with literacy expert Harvey Daniels, our keynote speaker and presenter at the PSU Children's Literature Conference, in my role as committee member for that group.
