Croatia Study Abroad Program

The program consists of an immersion experience in Zagreb, Croatia during which participants undertake the study of Croatian language, culture and history by enrolling in two courses. One is a three-credit course, Culture and Society of Croatia and Environs ANT309, offered through the Department of Anthropology at Plattsburgh State University of New York. The course runs for a total of five weeks. See the link for ANT309 for details. The second is an intensive language course offered at the University of Zagreb through the Faculty of Philosophy's Croaticum Program. See the Language link for details.

Plattsburgh State students may get General Education credits (six in total) for both courses and should contact their advisor or the Croatia Study Abroad program director for more information.

Students enrolled at other colleges and universities should check with their Office of the Registrar for information on transferring credits.

Non-matriculated students are also welcome.

For further information on eligibility, see Requirements for details.
