Ecotourism in Belize, Central America
Professor Higgins conducted a Rural Ecotourism Assessment Program project in Belize from 2000-2001 with Vincent Palacio of The Programme for Belize. The picture below is of the corner grocery store where they had lunch in the Harlem neighborhood of Dandriga, Belize. This project included an extensive survey of ecotourism visitors that is summarized at the link below.
