This portion of your grade is mainly for attendance. Everyone will start the semester out with 50 points. You will be allowed 2 free absences and every absence after this will cost 5 points of your attendance grade, whether you have an excuse or not (please don’t bring me absence slips). Also, students who are not actively participating in their group will be docked points. We will be working in groups of 2 all semester. If you have a conflict with your partner, let me know and I will rearrange groups. Although you may have different abilities, each member of the group should be participating equally. Anyone not pulling his/her share of the load will lose Participation points.
