Finding Foreign Language Books

The Feinberg Library Catalog can lead you to books published in other languages.  First, click the Advanced Search tab.  Then, in the Language field (the third box down), click the drop-down arrow.  Now you can limit your search to one of 8 languages including French, German, and Spanish.  The search will only retrieve books in the language you have selected.  Back in the search box at the top of the screen, you can type a specific title or an author such as:

La Symphonie Pastorale            Saint-Exupéry                          Hijos del Aire

Doktor Faustus                         Gabriel García Márquez            Goethe

If our library doesn't have what you want, go to WorldCat to search a worldwide library catalog of over 50 million books.  Our new ILLiad system lets you borrow anything you find in WorldCat.  Your request is delivered to you usually within 2 weeks for free!
