Finding Canadian Books & Government Documents

The Search Feinberg link will lead you to books about Canada.  In the search box at the top of the screen, you can type a specific title or author such as:
Steeples and Smokestacks            Faragher                          

OR by choosing subject from the drop-down menu at the top you can search for a specific subject such as:
Quebec                         Indigenous Peoples                   Acadians

or click the Advanced Search tab and in the Limit by Collection field (the sixth box down), click the drop-down arrow.  You can limit your search to Canadian government documents by choosing Document Coll. - Canada.  Or limit your search to DVDs or videos by choosing Media Coll. - DVD or Media Coll. - Video

Finding Journal and Magazine Articles

Print Periodicals:
Try the journal Quebec Studies
Unlike other print periodicals which are shelved alphabetically by title on the 3rd floor of the library, it is shelved in the General Collection on the first floor of the library at F1051 .Q33

Government of Canada Publications: Covers all types of Canadian federal government documents, some in full-text or French.

Canadian Periodicals Index: Full-text to many articles covering all of Canada, some available in French.

ProQuest Research Library: Information from over 2,600 periodicals and newspapers on a wide range of topics including the arts, business, humanities, health, social sciences, sciences.  You can choose Location from the drop-down menu.

JSTOR: Complete archives of 411 core journals in humanities, social sciences and sciences.
