Search the Internet:

Locating local community health information is a matter of accessing agency web sites, local government data, and old-fashioned footwork!

To start, search through the Plattsburgh City Web site and the Clinton County Web site, as well as the CVPH Medical Center Web site.

Look also for state-wide information relevant to our region at the NYS Health Department Web site.

For more general information on community health and national initiatives, the FLIRT page for nursing and allied health will lead you to several good internet sites to help you get started. You can also search using any Internet search engine such as Yahoo! or Google. Other Internet starting points include the Emporia University List of electronic journals in nursing at http://ejw.i8.com/nursee-j.htm or their list of nursing Internet sites at http://ejw.i8.com/nurseweb.htm
