Served on the Adirondack Roots Steering Committee (1999-2001) that consisted of
representatives of 11 public and nonpublic schools, Champlain Valley Educational
Services (BOCES), Plattsburgh State University, and local historical
associations. This consortium was formed to help bridge the technology
disparity that existed in the North Country. Phase I of the grant was a Title
III Learning Technology Grant of $450,000 to help bridge the digital divide
Phase II of our project an additional $240,000 was awarded.
