Research Interests

The information on the pages which follow provides a brief overview of nineteenth-century Roman Catholic ecclesiastical and institutional architecture in the United States for others who may share this interest.  Concise biographical sketches are provided for many of the architects typically employed on these church sponsored projects.  The subsequent photographic archive illustrates representative examples demonstrating the stylistic variety of churches designed by several of nineteenth-century America's more prolific Roman Catholic ecclesiastical architects.  Finally, a list of a few links to architectural history resources is also provided to direct researches to other sites of possible interest.
