Course Objectives:
1.
to provide the student with a general knowledge and understanding of the
history and literature of theatre and theories of drama from pre-history thru
the 18th Century.
2.
to provide a foundation for further work in theatre history
including graduate studies.
Course Content:
The course follows a chronological
outline using lecture/recitation format .
