Associate Professor, Plattsburgh State University of New York, Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management Department (August, 2002 - Present).   full-time teaching, ongoing academic advisement, curriculum development and evaluation, grant writing, academic research, advisor to the HRT student club, web-based teaching and course development, service in departmental and college-wide committees, service in Plattsburgh State University's Faculty Senate .

Instructor, Texas Tech University, Restaurant and Hotel Management Department (December, 2001 - August, 2002).   Taught advanced food production management, cost control, and personnel management. Also helped manage an entire food service operation (Skyviews Restaurant of Texas Tech University). .

Dining Room Manager, Tony Roma's Restaurant (September, 1998 - May, 1999).   Trained and oversaw service personnel Managed reservations and scheduling.

Restaurant Manager, Boston Market (February, 1998 - September, 1998).   Managed the back of the house: duties included food prep and back-up, scheduling, staffing, training, ordering, sales level analysis, food cost analysis, P&L statements Managed the front of the house, duties included customers relations, retail and drive-through .
