Icebox Compressor

When we installed electric refrigeration we needed to find a place to locate the compressor.   One space that was not being used at all was the area behind the drawers under the stove  (The Nimue III does not have an oven.)    By glassing in a shelf against the port hull and the forward bulkhead, a convenient location was created for the compressor.   Adequate ventilation is obtained since the stove mounting is on a gimbal arrangement with a half inch or more of space all around it.  This location is also relatively sound proof.  The picture above is taken through the hole where the top drawer slides in.  The compressor does not get in the way of either drawer.
