Lazarett Storage
Since the lazarette locker is completely open, it is difficult to use for storage. We acquired a plastic laundry basket that was slightly larger than the openning of the hatch and attached it from below. This provides a convenient place to store cleaning materials, etc. An improvement would be to mount this basket on a track so that it could be slid to one side for access to the steering quadrant and cockpit drain hoses. Not being a large person, I can still access this area from the port cockpit locker.
