Navigation Station

The starboard interior bulkhead seemed to be the perfect place to serve as a "navigation station."   This picture shows the location of the VHF radio and microphone with a CD player installed just outboard to the left.   Above these is a bracket that holds the cell phone as well as a small shelf on which the GPS is mounted (with an external antenna).  Above the microphone is a holder for our hand bearing compass and above that is the radar screen which can be used inside or swung outside for viewing from the cockpit.  The binocular rack is also installed on the coachroof side.   The conversion of the quarter berth to a storage locker/chart table completed this areas as a navigation center.
