Rudder Post Support
On our boat, the top of the rudder post was not oringinally positively secured. After a number of years, the hole through which the post protruded became slighly enlarged. We solved this problem by having the original stainless steel collar welded to a rectangular plate which was then secured to the cockpit sole by four bolts. This eliminates any movement at the top of the rudder post. This page last modified on Thursday, August 23, 2001 |
