Evaluation of citations:

The topic for your nursing research paper is

"Tamoxifen therapy for the treatment of female breast cancer"

Your research in periodical databases and catalogs yielded some results listed below. Your job is to evaluate these citations carefully---for clues that may lead you to accept, reject or think twice about using the complete information sources.

 

Remember that each citation may reveal multiple clues--you will be graded on the comprehensiveness of your evaluation--how many clues you spot and how well you explain their significance.


 

As an example here are some to give you and idea of what to look for:

I searched a broad access tool, the IAC Academic Index, for the topic of aspirin. My comments are written in red. Which articles you choose is entirely dependent on your research focus and the type of information you need.
