Sounds, sounds
everywhere sounds!
I am serious
about any type of audio recording, sweetening and production. It
doesn't matter if it is studio or field recording, music, Foley,
SFX, post-production...I love it all. I would really enjoy
working in film, video or multi-media sound design. While I
delight in capturing and designing digital audio and video,
post production is what I excel in. And as always in sound
production if you have done a good job nobody has noticed you
but the overall production is great.

I am an absolute adoring fan of Joss
Whedon and was very excited about creating a project that
allowed me to honor a beloved television characters, as well as
combine a solid lesson in electronic music.

This is an original Rene' Lynn Burl composition, performance and
capture, with the exception of the violin who was played by
Kelly Hayes. All other sounds or instruments were created using
MIDI. The song title is "A Storm is Coming"

Performance Field Recording
Both field recordings were captured
on DAT using a high quality spaced pair microphones. The tonal
quality difference lies in the acoustic environment where they
performed. The guitar ensemble was co-engineered by team member
Joseph Schuftan.

Soundtrack Creation for Animation
Triangle Land Cartoon
This was an award winning project for my
team member Stacey Perry and myself. We were given the animation
with out any audio and were told had to design the sound. Over
250 individual wav's went into the creation of this soundtrack
for less then 3 minutes of animation. Although nearly all
the SFX were created for this soundtrack this is strictly an
example of our soundtrack design skills. This is a large
mpeg that may take a few minutes to down load.

Web design, created graphics and
implementation. The image to the right (OWE) was from a client
based assignment through two member teams. Kristy Kennedy and I
had a very successful development project that left our client
organization OWE very happy.
