The laborer, of course, is essential to capitalist production.  Yet there is always tension between those seeking profits from labor and the laborer.  Furthermore, capital generally seeks the cheapest labor, as we have seen over the past 30 years as manufacturing, once the foundation of advanced industrial economies, has moved largely to so-called developing countries, and, along with it, the jobs once held by laborers in those countries.  Many of the videos in this set address that phenomenon.
