GEL 101 Field Trip Preview
1) Things to REMEMBER!
a) Be on time!!
b) Dress for the weather! Listen to the weather report the night before the trip and dress accordingly.
c) Bring lunch or some money. Lunch is your responsibility.
2) Trip preview. The following stop illustrations will help you prepare for the trip. The better prepared you are, the more you will learn on the trip! Remember that science is often a process of using models ("facts" that we learn) to interpret observations we make (phenomena we see) in the field. Each stop description includes references to our text that you should read inorder to allow you to interpret the geologic features you will see on the trip.
