EVALUATING INFORMATION

Information comes in all varieties of quantity and quality.  It is essential that you take the time to judge the value of the information you find so that your research is sound.  Evaluation of information found on the Internet is especially important since there are no standards for publishing -- in other words, anything goes.  One useful consideration in evaluating a web site is to identify its domain.  Above all, the question to ask yourself are "Can I trust this information and why or why not?"
