3.       To help you to develop effective critical-analysis skills as you explore the uses and effects of various multimedia applications as a tool for communication

You will learn how to use a variety of application software to create and incorporate the different elements of digital media production, including the use of text, graphics, sound, animation, and video. You will learn how to digitize and manipulate images, sound, and video materials as a part of the multimedia creation process including the production of web sites, multimedia presentations, and the creation of CDs & DVDs. Due to its importance as a conduit for communication, a major focus is aimed at assisting you to develop critical-analysis skills to gauge the effectiveness of design elements used in various multimedia environments.
