Junior Seminar - Science and Pseudoscience in Psychology Beginning Fall semester, 2000, I will occasionally teach a Junior seminar (psychology 304) entitled "Science and Pseudoscience in Psychology." This seminar will meet the writing requirement for the university. The syllabus for this course can be obtained by clicking here. In this seminar, we will discuss the distinctions between scientific and pseudoscientific approaches to knowledge formation. Through reading, discussion, writing, and class presentations, we will explore various truth claims regarding human behavior and the degree to which they can be correctly labeled "scientific."
